Bomb damage at St Luke's College

Description

Black and white photograph showing bomb damage to the cloisters at St Luke's College in 1948. The College buildings were badly damaged in the 'Exeter Blitz' (also known as the 'Baedeker raids'), the air raids on Exeter during the Second World War which took place between April and May 1942. Repair to the buildings did not begin until the 1950s.
