Students from the University College of the South West celebrating Rag week outside the Bradninch Place college building, Gandy Street, Exeter

The building was named after a College benefactor who was a member of the Singer sewing machine family.

Photograph of the exterior of the Registry of the University College of the South West, damaged in the Exeter Blitz in May 1942. Most of the college records were also destroyed.
